Keliher recognizes the importance of reflection and recognizing mistakes. Keliher explains how he is providing learners with an opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skill sets through his work with Junior Achievement. Keliher and Couros also talk about Keliher’s book, Superstar Curriculum: “A collection of skills, habits, and attitudes” that Keliher has found over his educational career. The four components of the book, Superstar Curriculum are: character development, habit of mind development, opportunity development, and personal leadership. This episode has a little of everything - the two talk about fatherhood, education, entrepreneurship, basketball, wrestling, and much more!

How I Lost 80 Pounds! - The #InnovatorsMindset Podcast S2 EP 16

“Even through failures, what do we learn through the process?” - George Couros
This quote serves as the ongoing theme of this video as George Couros reflects on what he has done to lose 80 pounds. Even though Couros, who is not a medical professional, has seen results over the last 7 to 8 months, he has dealt with numerous failures, and through determination and reflection, he has created a routine that has helped him reach his fitness goals! Couros reminds us that when something is not working, we can take what we have learned to find a direction that works better for us. Towards the end, Couros gets very real about how the mental weight started leading to physical weight and he shares what he is doing to surround himself with people who cheer him on. Everyone’s journey is different, so this video serves as a reflection of a journey where Couros has found success in a way that is meaningful to him.
