Most educators consider that the 21/22 school year has been harder than last year. Dr. Shawna Miller shares why she feels this and reflects on how we expected this school year to be easier than last and when it wasn’t, it made the struggle worse. Dr. Miller is focused on serving the people in front of her; working backward to make sure that the people she works with get what they need. There are three types of learning that are crucial in education - learning for our students, learning about our students, and learning from our students. These three types of learning work together to create opportunities to explore the wisdom and experiences of others. In this week’s episode, George Couros talks with Kasson Bratton who is a participant in Couros and Novak’s UDL graduate course.
